God is Love and substances of like matter attract one another, they are chemically bonded together. Faith alone does not bond. Are you attached to a scientist just because you have faith that they can send a man to the moon or are you not attached to the person who adores you? You may be attracted to intelligence but it does not bond you together. Superior in all ways is Love, for it is a salvation gift to be connected to God, His Heaven and the hereafter. Far above faith and hope, True Love never fails because…1) it never fails to attach you to God and God will never forsake Himself, 2) True Love never fails to save you on Earth and in Heaven from all types of pain, 3) True Love (God in your heart) never fails to be effective because this Love is directed, performed and anointed by God Himself which means that God will enter the lives or situation and make the speech, deed or action move the next person. True Love begets life because love ignites life. Love never fails because it is God’s electricity. This True Love, this life—it is one and the same thing, and it is regenerated from One Source and that is God, who is Love. There is hope, for as this world gets darker…this light still persists, and as hateful as it gets, somehow True Love has survived, without fail, thru the millenniums.

There is more to say on this passage, but for now, I leave you with this thought: there is an urgency in Love. Many have heard of the saying, “I shall not pass this way again…”

“I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow human being let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” I appreciate the reminder to make the most of every encounter with every person, from home to community and especially the Church. To all those seeking this good God while He can be found, to all the Saints out there…the time is now. Do not delay to give Love.
