Once you feel this hunger, select regular foods that you desire. The foods you want are not evil. This includes pizza, Fritos, sour cream, desserts and ice cream. God has programmed you to desire a variety of foods. If you eat the same foods over and over, you will get sick of them. Many of you are sick of skinless chicken or salads with low-calorie dressing. Try some real blue cheese dressing. It is fantastic! God is the genius chef behind lasagna and chocolate cheesecake. He did not put bagels and cream cheese on earth to torture us! If you are sick of certain foods, you are free to avoid them until you desire them again. That is a very healthy nutritional practice. Your body has a natural biological feedback mechanism that cues you to a variety. You need to trust how your body was made. In later chapters, I will discuss how this low volume of regular foods is a superior nutritional approach, and it is the diet regime that almost all ninety-year-olds have always followed. In other words, it is associated with good health.
