What about when you are playing a board game and you have to go back three spaces? Maybe you were almost to the point of winning a game, and then someone sends your piece all the way back to Start. Do you get mad or upset? No! First of all, you need to have prayed before you even started the game; that puts your heart on the right track before you even begin. Then you tell yourself, “I am going to lose this game, and I am going to make everyone laugh when I do.” You make it fun! You say, “Oh, man!” but you are not really mad when you say it, so it makes everyone laugh. A game is meant to be fun and to make the time spent with friends better—it is not for you to show off or to win every time. It is really there for you to be like Jesus Christ and for you to lose. You actually look forward to losing!
