Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them. The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. I open my mouth and pant, longing for your commands. Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name. Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. Redeem me from the oppression of men, that I may obey your precepts. Make your face shine upon your servant and teach me your decrees. Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed.<\/em>

I share Job\u2019s feelings in the verse from the book bearing his name because I too treasure the words of God\u2019s mouth more than my daily bread. I do not have a one-way relationship with the Father. I have a two-way conversation, even though I do not hear a voice audibly. To hear His voice, I stay in the Word! I have several identical Bibles that I like to use. The only time I panic is when I think I have left my Bible at home after setting out on a trip. God\u2019s guidance is everything to me, and I want to know what He thinks. He keeps my foot from stumbling, He gives me wisdom for which direction to turn, and He protects me from the enemy. I have to have His Word, and I love His laws because they are always right! Do you have a question about a principle? The answer is in God\u2019s Word.<\/p>\n
