Who Do You Want To Be With?

History of the Love of God

Much of the world takes a deist point of view but this defies common sense. We are made in God’s image and Christ told us that when you saw him, you saw The Father, which means we know a lot about God because Christ loved, healed, cared for and shared Truth with the needy, those looking for God.Christ had empathy for the poor, wept, had righteous indignation toward those who did not love God, and took care of everyone around him. Look who you are close to…who do you really long to be with? Is it someone who is judgmental (the worst), stingy, tightfisted, selfish, bitter, sour, jealous, competitive or prideful? Do you really want to be best friends with someone who lies, cheats, swindles and robs you? Do you want to be married to a spouse who is in love with another? No! “Absolutely NOT!” would be your response…right? Then why can man not understand the nature of True Religion—someone genuinely adoring God and treating Him right? That is all that Jesus said to the woman at the well:
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. John 4:23-24
