Christ taught that forgiveness is a duty. No limit can be set to the extent of forgiveness, no matter what the crime. It must be from the heart. Forgiveness must be granted without hesitation or reservation. It must be complete and wholeheartedly given. To hold back or to be unforgiving is the opposite of Jesus Christ and the opposite of our Father in Heaven.
