The main thing we have to understand in life is that everything is screened by God. God knows everything that is going to happen and everything that is happening. Maybe it was not your day to win at foursquare. It was not your day on that video game. It was not your time to hit the home run; instead, you made three strikes and you were out. It was just not your day for winning, and there are going to be more of those types of days than there will be home-run days. Every time you play a game, you are praying, “O God, help me to expect that I may not hit the basketball hoop. I may not hit the home run. God, help me to know that there are going to be other days, and if I do not have a bad attitude, my friends might ask me to play again.” They will want to play with you because you are a good sport. There will be more days to have fun.
